A Brooklyn woman was hit and killed by an MTA bus while crossing the street in Bushwick Friday night.
Eyewitnesses say Hui Wu, 26, was crossing Myrtle Avenue while talking on her cell phone at around 10 p.m. when she allegedly slipped on a patch of ice and fell. That is when a B25 bus ran her over.
Robert Crespin, who witnessed the accident, rushed to Wu?s side and took off his sweater to keep her warm while they waited for the first responders to arrive.
Wu was taken to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Police say the driver of the bus will not be charged in the accident.
