Yankees honor 9/11 victims on the road in Boston
The New York Yankees were on the road in Boston Tuesday where the teams remembered victims of Sept. 11 before the first pitch.
A large American flag waved inside the Red Sox stadium as the teams hit the diamond. The Bronx Bombers were down 2-1 in the sixth inning when Derek Jeter got a ground rule double to put them in the lead, 3-2.
The Yanks were tied up in the ninth and lost their lead, ending the game 4-3. Baltimore won their game, so the teams are once again tied for first place.
