An e-bike rider was fatally struck by an ambulance early Sunday morning in Downtown Brooklyn, according to authorities.
Officials say the vehicle hit the 65-year-old man just after 1 a.m. on Ashland Place and Willoughby Street. He was shortly pronounced dead at a hospital.
The FDNY ambulance was driven by a 21-year-old first responder. A 28-year-old EMT and a 29-year-old EMT were also aboard at the time.
All three were hospitalized in stable condition.
