One year after the massive snowstorm that struck New York City over Christmas weekend, the city has paid out almost $2 million in claims to those affected by the blizzard.
According to New York City Comptroller John Liu, the largest payout went to a man who fell in an improperly shoveled, icy parking lot.
The city paid the man $150,000 in a settlement.
