10-year-old Bronx native actor discusses leading role in 'Brownsville Bred' film

Brownsville Bred is a new film that tells the true coming-of-age story of producer/writer Elaine del Valle about growing up in Brooklyn. The movie is a true father-daughter story told in a series of vignettes meant to spark joy while revealing the truths of generational poverty.
The movie stars 10-year-old Bronx native Summer Rose Castillo, who captures the joy and pain of this urban-American story.
