13 Brooklyn bus lines get F rating due to slow speeds

The Comptroller says that this report highlights where improvements are most needed to make buses faster and more reliable.

New York City Comptroller Brad Lander has released a report card for NYC buses and most aren’t making the grade.
The report says that more than half of the city’s 332 bus lines got a D or an F. The report notes chronic delays, “bunching,” and unreliable service across the city.
In Brooklyn, 13 of the bus lines received an F due to slow speeds, some as low as 5 miles per hour.
The following Brooklyn buses received an F for speed:
  • B32
  • B37
  • B43
  • B45
  • B48
  • B57
  • B60
  • B74
The following express buses also received F grades:
  • BM1
  • BM2
  • BM3
  • BM4
  • BM5
