New York City Comptroller Brad Lander has released a report card for NYC buses and most aren’t making the grade.
The report says that more than half of the city’s 332 bus lines got a D or an F. The report notes chronic delays, “bunching,” and unreliable service across the city.
In Brooklyn, 13 of the bus lines received an F due to slow speeds, some as low as 5 miles per hour.
The following Brooklyn buses received an F for speed:
B32
B37
B43
B45
B48
B57
B60
B74
The following express buses also received F grades:
BM1
BM2
BM3
BM4
BM5
The Comptroller says that this report highlights where improvements are most needed to make buses faster and more reliable.
