A 13-year-old boy was shot in the ankle Friday night in Clinton Hill, police said.

The incident occurred just after 9 p.m. near the intersection of Fulton Street and Classon Avenue. According to authorities, the teen was in stable condition as of Saturday morning.

Franka Ziemann, who lives across the street from the scene, said the sound of gunshots still lingers in her mind.

“I mean, it’s definitely unsettling,” she said. “Last night, I heard like four or five gunshots and then I saw a bunch of cop cars coming down Fulton and ambulances.”

Witnesses say about 15 teenagers were gathered near Crispus Attucks playground late night for a party.

Police are searching for a suspect described as a male dressed in all black clothing and a black face mask.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
