14 hurt in crash involving MTA bus in Canarsie

More than a dozen people were hurt during a collision involving an MTA bus in Canarsie.  According to MTA officials, a minivan slammed into the side of a B6 bus at Glenwood Road and East 102nd Street

More than a dozen people were hurt during a collision involving an MTA bus in Canarsie. 
According to MTA officials, a minivan slammed into the side of a B6 bus at Glenwood Road and East 102nd Street just before 9 a.m. The van had reportedly rolled through a stop sign. 
Chopper 12 was overhead as at least 14 people were taken to Brookldale Hospital, including the driver of the van. The other 13 were bus riders. 
At least one person suffered serious injuries, while the rest were minor. 
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
