2 New Jersey residents charged in break‑in at long‑abandoned IBM site in Somers

A 16-year-old boy was fatally shot in the chest inside the NYCHA Sheepshead Bay Houses, police say.

Officers found the teen just before 6 p.m. inside 2957 Ave. X.

Authorities say EMS took him to NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health, where he died.

The teen's identity has not been released.

No arrests have been made as of Monday evening.
