A 16-year-old boy was killed in a car collision early Saturday morning on the Belt Parkway.

News 12 was told the teen was driving eastbound when he lost control of the vehicle and hit numerous cars before careening off the road.

He was taken to Lutheran Hospital, where they pronounced him dead.

Four others were in the car with him and were treated for minor injuries.
