Scooter rider struck by car in Sheepshead Bay

A shooting left a 17-year-old boy injured overnight in Crown Heights, according to police.

Authorities say the victim took a bullet to the stomach around 12 a.m. on Eastern Parkway.

He was hospitalized in stable condition.

Police have yet to release a description of the suspect.
