1st Bronx Shake Shack opens at Bay Plaza Shopping Center

Shake Shack opened its first Bronx location Thursday at the Bay Plaza Shopping Center.
The new location is partnering with Bronx companies and nonprofits from the community.
The first guests received a custom hat made from Bronx Native, and Shake Shack is sponsoring the South Bronx United travel soccer team.
During the summer, the Bay Plaza Shake Shack will serve a selection of local beers from the Bronx Brewery.
The new Shake Shack will be donating meals to the neighboring Co-op City’s vaccination site.
The location has a covered outdoor patio for guests, and is allowing people indoors at a limited capacity in accordance with safety restrictions.
The Bay Plaza Shack features a walk-up window as part of Shake Shack’s new Shack Track, a digital pre-ordering and fulfillment experience.
The burger chain now has locations at all five boroughs in New York City.
