The FDNY says a two-alarm fire ripped through a Bay Ridge home Thursday.
Firefighters responded to the blaze at 7408 6th Ave. just before 11:45 a.m.
Flames erupted in the basement and spread throughout the two-story home, reaching the space between the top-floor ceiling and roof, according to fire officials.
Crews placed the fire under control in just over an hour. The FDNY says no one was injured.
