Police are investigating overnight break-ins at an apartment building in Bushwick, where two homes were entered and one man was hurt.

It happened just after 2:15 a.m. Monday inside a building on Myrtle Avenue near Stockholm Street, according to the New York City Police Department.

Police say three to four men walked through the front door of a 62-year-old man’s apartment, showed guns and took property.

Investigators say those same men then went into a second apartment in the same building — this time belonging to a 27-year-old man — again entering through the front door, showing guns and taking property.

The 27-year-old suffered minor injuries to his face. EMS treated him at the scene, and police say he is stable.

A police source also confirmed that a dog was removed from the second apartment, along with a Pokémon collection, bank cards and more.

News 12 spoke with the victim's mother, Martha.

"Four people arrived with guns and beat them a lot. My son was hit hard. They hit him in the head with a pistol. After that, they stole everything. Everything. They stole money from him. They stole all my daughter's belongings, everything. They stole his phones, everything, everything," said Martha.

"It doesn't make me feel very secure. I'm a little nervous because I didn't even know what had happened until now. I just don't understand, I feel fortunate that nothing happened here, they didn't touch anything. But well, I'm really sorry, truly. From the heart, I'm sorry," she said.

News 12 spoke with another resident whose home wasn't broken into, but she wanted to remain anonymous.

Police say the men ran off after the break-ins.
