Police are investigating overnight break-ins at an apartment building in Bushwick, where two homes were entered and one man was hurt.
It happened just after 2:15 a.m. Monday inside a building on Myrtle Avenue near Stockholm Street, according to the New York City Police Department.
Police say three to four men walked through the front door of a 62-year-old man’s apartment, showed guns and took property.
Investigators say those same men then went into a second apartment in the same building — this time belonging to a 27-year-old man — again entering through the front door, showing guns and taking property.
The 27-year-old suffered minor injuries to his face. EMS treated him at the scene, and police say he is stable.
A police source also confirmed a dog was removed from the second apartment. News 12 asked police for more details about the dog and is waiting to hear back.
Police say the men ran off after the break-ins. No arrests have been made.
