2 young girls found dead after possible subway surfing incident in Williamsburg

According to police, a 13-year-old and a 12-year-old female were found on top of the train.

Two young girls were found dead at the Marcy Avenue and Broadway train station in Williamsburg early Saturday morning. Sources say authorities are investigating it as a subway surfing incident.

Video shows first responders on the scene just after 3 a.m.

According to police, a 13-year-old and a 12-year-old female were found on top of the train.

Neighbors told News 12 the J train is a popular line for subway surfing.

“It's heartbreaking. Every time I hear a story like this it's heartbreaking," said Raphael.

The identities of the victims were not immediately known.
