Two parks in Gravesend in need of repair are getting some funding and a makeover.
Scarangella Park and Lafayette Park will be getting nearly $9 million from the city and state for upgrades.
The renovations will include a restroom and new playground equipment.
In addition, the plan calls for residents to give their ideas and suggestions for the renovation.
The first design meeting for residents will be held in the spring. The project is expected to be completed in three years.
