Two men were injured after a shooting and slashing during a street fight in East New York, police say.

The incident happened around 11:30 p.m. Monday in front of 651 Barbey St.

Police say a 23-year-old man was shot once in the back and hip, and a 22-year-old man was slashed in the back and chest.

Both victims were involved in a fight with at least two other men, according to police.

They were transported to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition and are expected to be OK.
