Police are searching for the suspects involved in a shooting early Monday morning just steps away from a children's playground.

According to the NYPD, a 17-year-old boy and 20-year-old man were shot around 2 a.m. outside of 10791 Glenwood Road.

The victims told responding officers they were near the playground when they felt pain in their legs.

The 17-year-old was shot in his left leg, and the other was shot in his right leg. Both were taken to Brookdale Hospital and are in stable condition.

The victims say that because it was dark, they could not get a good look at the shooters.

The incident is still under investigation.
