Two people are under arrest after a man was assaulted and carjacked early Saturday morning in Dyker Heights, according to police.

Investigators say a 37-year-old man was sitting in his car around midnight when three men approached, dragged him out, and punched him in the face.

The suspects simulated having a gun before stealing his wallet and phone. They then forced him back inside his own vehicle and drove off with him.

Police initially received reports of shots being fired at 11th Avenue and Bay Ridge Parkway.

The victim was later found inside a home on 84th Street in Dyker Heights. He suffered minor injuries but refused medical attention.

Exclusive video obtained by News 12 shows a Toyota Sienna driving up onto the sidewalk as officers shouted commands and chased the vehicle.

The chaotic scene ended when the suspects crashed near the Gowanus Expressway and 84th Street.

Police were still searching for the third suspect as of Saturday evening.
