A man was assaulted and carjacked early Saturday morning in Bay Ridge, according to police.

Authorities say the victim was approached by three men who began kicking and punching him before taking off with his 2014 Toyota Sienna around 1 a.m.

Police initially received reports of shots being fired at 11th Avenue and Bay Ridge Parkway.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the 37-year-old victim. He refused medical attention at the scene.

Two of the suspects were taken into custody during the investigation. One remains at large.
