Four men sought for shooting 17-year-old boy in Bed Stuy

Police are looking for two men they saw made anti LGBTQIA+ comments and assaulted a man in Mount Eden.

The attack happened near Elliot Place and Jerome Avenue at 7:30 p.m. back on June 25.

Police say the two men approached a 43-year-old man and made anti LGBTQIA+ comments before assaulting him. The duo repeatedly punched and kicked the 43-year-old throughout his body. The two men then struck the victim in the head with a blunt object before fleeing.

The 43-year-old sustained serious injuries. He was transported to New York-Presbyterian Allen Hospital where he is expected to recover.

The men police are searching for were last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black pants, and black sneakers.

The second man was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, multicolored shorts, and black shoes.
