Police are looking for two men who stole a debit card inside a mailbox in Canarsie.

Investigators say the card was removed from inside a United States Postal Service box near East 82 Street and Avenue L on Aug. 27. The card belonged to a 86-year-old woman.

The men then used the stolen card to make multiple transactions over the next month. About $20,000 was stolen in unauthorized transactions.

One of the men was last seen wearing a black shirt, gray shorts, and white shoes. The other man was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
