2 men, woman injured when fight turns violent in Highbridge shooting

Two men and a woman were injured in a shooting in Highbridge.
Police responded to a call in front of 1235 Grand Concourse just before 1 a.m. on Wednesday.
When police arrived, they found a 24-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his right leg, a 22-year-old man with a graze wound to the back of his head and a 50-year-old woman with a graze wound to her neck.
All three victims were taken to Lincoln Hospital and are expected to be OK.
News 12 spoke with the woman who was grazed. She said it all started when some kids insulted her daughter’s friend.
The argument escalated throughout the night, and when the mother went outside to assess the situation, that’s when shots rang out.
The shooter shot a few shots, then moments later, fired again, the woman said. The three victims were seen in exclusive surveillance video running back into the apartment building after the shooting.
The surveillance video also captured the shooter and his friends running away after the incident.
Police are now looking for the shooter who fled northbound along the Grand Concourse.
Investigators confirm the shooting stemmed from an earlier dispute.
There are no arrests, and an investigation is ongoing.
