Molloy University in Rockville Centre is getting $2 million from a Board of Trustees member to support a new workforce development program.

The program will aim to grow career opportunities for students in health care and business administration fields.

Zaki Hossain, who helped secure the donation, says he hopes it gives students a kickstart when find jobs after graduation.

"The quality of the student depends on how much they learn and where they can apply it," Hossain says. "So, that's the goal that we are going to be working on."

Representatives from Catholic Health Services Long Island and Mount Sinai South Nassau attended the announcement.
