Two people were shot outside state Sen. Jesse Hamilton's campaign office in Crown Heights, police say.

Authorities were alerted by the ShotSpotter system around 7:30 p.m. Thursday to the scene at Rogers Avenue and Montgomery Street.

Arriving officers found a 16-year-old with a gunshot wound to the back and a 31-year-old man who was hit in the arm and back. The older man was able to transport himself to a hospital. Both victims were stable.

A bullet hole was seen in the office doorway.

Police have not named any suspects.
