Police: Body of woman recovered from Long Island Sound in Lloyd Harbor

Two women were shot inside a Bed-Stuy building late Thursday night, leaving one fighting for her life.

The shooting happened around 10:25 p.m. inside a building on Fulton Street, according to police.

Officers responding to an assault call found a 21-year-old woman with multiple gunshot wounds and a 40-year-old woman shot in the abdomen.

Residents of the building say they woke up shocked to hear the news.

“Somebody actually called me this morning and they said they heard about the shooting on the news,” said Sahar, a neighbor.

Both women were taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. The younger woman is in critical condition; the older woman is stable, police said.

Sources close to the investigation say it’s a domestic incident and they are looking for the boyfriend of one of the sisters.

Police say no arrests have been made.
