Police are asking for the public’s help identifying the individuals responsible for committing an armed robbery Monday in East New York.

Authorities say two men approached an 18-year-old woman, a 16-year-old boy and a 5-year-old boy behind 495 Gateway Drive.

They pulled out a gun, demanded money and took $600 from the victims before fleeing the scene on foot.

Police say they were then spotted handing the cash to a woman.

No injuries were reported. Anyone with information is urged to call 1-800-577-TIPS.
