Two teens were shot in Downtown Brooklyn after an argument turned violent, according to witnesses.
Officials say a 17-year-old boy was fatally shot in the head, and an 18-year-old male was shot in the leg. Both were taken to area hospitals, where the younger teen died.
Witnesses say a group of teens started fighting at around 6 p.m. near the Applebee's at DeKalb and Flatbush avenues.
They say the altercation culminated with several shots fired at a busy intersection during the evening rush.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
