Two teenage boys are lucky to be alive after being shot outside the Brooklyn Museum.
According to authorities, the shooting happened at around 9 p.m. Sunday along Eastern Parkway where a music festival was happening in Mount Prospect Park.
The 15-year-old victims were taken to Methodist Hospital where they are both listed in stable condition. One was reportedly shot in the torso and arm, the other in his hip.
Community activists were on the scene Monday, saying the shooting is proof that the city's gun policies aren't working and that more needs to be done to stop the violence.
Investigators say it's not clear whether the teens were targets or innocent bystanders.
