20-year-old shot in Bushwick; gunman on the run

The argument escalated when the man brandished a firearm and shot the 20-year-old man in the arm and leg.

Police are looking for a man they say shot a 20-year-old in Bushwick.  

The shooting happened in front of 1001 Decatur St. just before 11:40 p.m. back on August 1.  

Police say the gunman approached the 20-year-old man and engaged in a dispute. The argument escalated when the man brandished a firearm and shot the 20-year-old man in the arm and leg.  

Investigators say the gunmen fled on foot westbound on Decatur Street.  

The 20-year-old man was transported to Brookdale Hospital where he is expected to recover.
