Music, dancing, and appreciation for the Caribbean community filled the Kings Plaza Mall as a celebration was held for Caribbean American Heritage Month on Wednesday.
The Kings Plaza Mall holds this festival every year. This year, three local Caribbean Americans were honored for their commitment to Brooklyn – Kamila Millwood, Paula Mercure, and Clover Dewar.
Attendees were treated to music and dancing courtesy of the Caribbean Diaspora.
