A driver has been accused of causing a multivehicle DWI crash in Lindenhurst.

Officers say the crash happened just after 10 p.m. on Montauk Highway and Kramer Drive Friday.

Police say Lester Calix, 25, of Huntington Station, attempted to turn left when he crashed into a sedan that was heading eastbound.

Calix’s car allegedly went on to hit a pickup truck and then a utility pole, causing massive damage.

Several people involved suffered minor injuries.
