Montefiore Medical Group opens brand-new family health center in Crotona Park
The facility that was once located in the West Farms section now sits on the corner of 1825 Boston Road, offering an array of primary care services, including family medicine, social work, tele health and lab services.

The newest addition of the Montefiore Medical Group officially celebrated its doors opening in the Crotona Park section of the Bronx.
The facility that was once located in the West Farms section now sits on the corner of 1825 Boston Road, offering an array of primary care services, including family medicine, social work, tele health, and lab services.
Thanks to the support of the City Council, which partially funded the space with a $1 million grant, the new and improved health center has 11 exam rooms, filled with state-of-the-art equipment used to provide the community with the highest quality of hands-on care, no matter their age.
"We take care of generations of families," said Sybil Hodgson, the chief of medical services at Montefiore Medical Group. "This is truly a neighborhood practice. When you look outside, you see people are walking to work, they're walking to the store, and we've been in this community for over 20 years."
Milta Carlo, a patient who's been receiving care at the facility for years, said she keeps coming back because "they're very frank with you and I love my doctor."
The facility is open for walk-ins and same-day appointments Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
