A new mobile crime unit for the NYPD is dedicated to a detective who lost his life after 9/11.

Detective Joseph Paolillo was one of the heroes who worked at ground zero. The Real Time Crimes Center Emergency Response Van will be dedicated to him and his service. 

The van is a major update with newer technology that the NYPD says will allow investigators to relay information to field detectives in just minutes. They say the van will be a major assistance in time-sensitive crimes.
