Lords Bakery is now boarded up with a sign that says ‘permanently closed’, and residents are trying to wrap their head around the news.
“I was highly surprised,” said one Flatbush resident. “My son celebrated a birthday on March 9 and we got a birthday cake from here.”
The bakery posted on Facebook saying that they’re “working hard to reopen as soon as possible. This is not our first storm, but definitely the most impactful.”
