NYPD: 1 man killed, another injured in Fordham Heights shooting

Police say they received a call reporting gunfire on the corner of East 187th Street and Tiebout Avenue.

A shooting Saturday night in Fordham Heights left one man dead and another injured.

Police say they received a call reporting gunfire on the corner of East 187th Street and Tiebout Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers found a 25-year-old man with a gunshot wound in his chest and a 23-year-old man with gunshot wounds in his stomach and backside.

Authorities say both victims were hospitalized. The 25-year-old was pronounced dead, and the 23-year-old is currently in stable condition.

No arrests have been made yet, according to police.
