Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez announced on Thursday that a Brooklyn lawyer has been arraigned and indicted for allegedly stealing around $3.8 million from four of his clients.

Those clients were represented by defendant Salvatore Strazzulo, who represented them in real estate and estate proceedings connected to five properties in Bensonhurst, Kensington, Dyker Heights and Borough Park.

The indictment alleges that Strazzulo used the money he stole to fund a “lavish lifestyle” that included $50,000 worth of meals at restaurants, almost $100,000 for a BMW and driver, around $60,000 for hotels in Paris and Miami, and more.

Investigators say the defendant represented an elderly couple during the sale of their Bensonhurst home when he stole just under $1.3 million of the proceeds for his own personal use.

Strazzulo also allegedly stole just under $1 million from another elderly couple from the proceeds of the sale of their Kensington home.

Strazzulo is accused of stealing proceeds from the home sale of two other couples. All of these home sales took place between June 2021 and March 2024.

The defendant was charged separately in December 2023 for allegedly stealing around $1.5 million from three other clients following the sale of properties in Bensonhurst and Borough Park.
