NYPD: 1 person dead, another injured in overnight double shooting in Brownsville

A shooting suspect is wanted in connection to a deadly shooting in Brownsville, police say.

According to investigators, a 34-year-old man was shot in the stomach multiple times at around 3:30 a.m. Friday outside an apartment building at 91 Junius St. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but did not survive.

A 42-year-old man was shot in the leg, but is expected to be OK.

It's unclear why the two men were shot.
