A Brooklyn man has been arrested and charged after police say he threw an explosive device into a Verizon utility work van in Crown Heights.

According to authorities, 36-year-old Kevindale Nurse was driving a van with his 4-year-old son in it when a Verizon van cut him off back in January.

Surveillance video captured Nurse driving erratically before pulling up to the driver's side window of the Verizon van and throwing that explosive device inside the vehicle. The Verizon repairmen sustained multiple inquiries, police say.

If convicted, Nurse is facing up to 40 years in prison.
