Police: Man found dead with injuries in Bed-Stuy
Officials say they have not identified the man but say he was found with trauma to his body.

A man was found dead with injuries in Bed-Stuy Saturday afternoon, according to police.
News 12's Karina Gerry has the latest details from Jimmy Cooper, a man who says he found the deceased man. Cooper says they both live in the Gibb Mansion, a supportive services housing complex on Gates Avenue.
The Gibb Mansion provides housing to 71 chronically ill and low-income residents. Cooper says he lived there for ten years and has sadly seen a lot of people pass away in that time.
"I knocked on the door, I checked on him, he didn't open the door, or he doesn't respond. I got in, he's down on the ground,” Cooper said.
Officials say they have not identified the man but say he was found with trauma to his body.
The cause of death is unknown, and the investigation is ongoing
