Brooklyn Jewish community prepares for High Holidays amid Iran missile strikes in Israel

People in the Crown Heights Jewish community are getting ready to observe the High Holidays, but at the same time, they are thinking of the people of Israel following Iran's missile attack.
News 12 spoke to Chav Ledal, who is in New York from Israel. She just arrived in Brooklyn on Thursday to celebrate Rosh Hashanah with her family. She says right now, her kids and grandkids are hunkering down in bomb shelters outside of Tel Aviv.
She says she feels happy to be safe in Brooklyn, but says she also wishes she could be at home hugging her loved ones.
Despite increased concerns about security at home, residents of Brooklyn's Jewish community members were seen dancing in the street and singing songs Monday night to celebrate the upcoming Rosh Hashana holiday. Some said that the risk is definitely felt, but they are not scared.
While on scene, News 12 witnessed NYPD counterterrorist units arriving to increase security.
Right now, there are no credible threats to the Jewish community in Crown Heights.
