The officer was taken to the hospital where they are currently listed in stable condition.

Officials say an officer was struck by a vehicle on sutter avenue and forbell street tuesday night.
They say it happened just after 9:30 p.m.
Officials say a dark-colored sedan was operating recklessly, and officers attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver sped up and struck one of the officers in the leg.
The officer was taken to the hospital where they are currently listed in stable condition.
Officials say they have the 25-year-old driver in custody.
