Police are searching for a sexual assault suspect in Cypress Hills.

According to police, a 35-year-old female was struck in the head and sexually assaulted by a man early Monday morning.

The incident happened around Hinsdale and Glenmore avenues.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.

Details about the suspect were not immediately available.
