Horrifying Midwood crash happens in the same spot that killed at 29-year-old woman in 2017

New reaction this morning over the horrifying New Year's Eve crash where a car hit two women a baby stroller in Midwood.
It was at the intersection of Nostrand Avenue and Kings Highway on Dec. 31 where two women, a young child, and a bay were struck by a 69-year-old man and his car. The crash happened at the exact same place where 29-year-old Hernanda Booker lost her life on Jan. 3, 2017.
The special education teacher was struck on her way to work. Though this latest crash was fortunately not fatal, Booker's sister, Rhondelle Booker Adams, is speaking out about the crash that very closely mimicked that of the one that claimed her sister's life.
"It's a tough pill to swallow," she says. "Traffic deaths are one of the most preventable deaths."
Since her sister's death, Rhondelle successfully got the Department of Transportation to add a median and turn signal to the intersection.
With the New Years Eve crash, and crashes in the same spot since her sister's death, Rhondelle says she wants the Department of Transportation to revisit the intersection and make more safety improvements.
