Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who robbed a 12-year-old girl Wednesday evening in Gravesend.
Authorities say the victim was walking on 27th Avenue when the man approached, pulled out a razor and forcefully snatched her necklace before fleeing.
The necklace is worth around $600, according to investigators.
The suspect is described as a 5’10” male wearing a black sweater, black sweatpants, a hat and multicolor sneakers.
