Moped-riding group on the run after chain snatchings in Brooklyn, Queens

The group drove up to a 38-year-old woman at Huron Street and McGuinness Boulevard just before 2 p.m. and snatched her chain.

Police are looking for a group of moped-riding robbers in chain snatching incidents in Brooklyn and Queens.

The first two incidents happened in Greenpoint in Brooklyn on Oct. 10. The group drove up to a 38-year-old woman at Huron Street and McGuinness Boulevard just before 2 p.m. and snatched her chain. Minutes after, they snatched the chain of 26-year-old woman at Union Avenue and Meeker Avenue.

The very next day, the group snatched the chain of a 42-year-old woman on Greenpoint Avenue in Queens just after noon.
