NYPD says they've arrested a 48-year-old man in connection to a Friday afternoon in Williamsburg.

Police say Jose Ortiz punched a 26-year-old woman in the back of the head as she walked on the sidewalk at Hooper Street and South 4th Street around 12 p.m.

Ortiz was charged with attempted assault.
