2 men injured in Brownsville shooting

Officers were called to Blake Avenue and Rockaway Avenue just before 7 p.m. Friday. This is located just outside the NYCHA Brownsville Houses.

Two men were shot near Sutter and Rockaway avenues in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn on Friday evening.

According to police, the call for the shooting came in around 6:47 p.m.

Investigators blocked off a portion of Sutter Avenue, with crime scene tape surrounding a silver Honda Civic.

Police reported that a 20-year-old man was shot in the stomach and a 24-year-old man was shot in both of his legs.

Both were transported to the hospital and are stable.

No arrests have been made.

No details of what led up to the shooting have been released.
