Police have arrested a 19-year-old man in connection to a slashing on the A train over a dispute about a seat.
Chris Arias has been arrested and charged with assault, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
Officers responded to the Nostrand Avenue subway station just before 11:45 a.m. Thursday.
The NYPD says the 51-year-old man was slashed once above his eye. Police sources say the two were fighting over a seat on the train beforehand.
EMS took the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, where he is expected to recover.
