Gov. Kathy Hochul announced plans to increase state support for New York City by $1.5 billion on Monday.

Hochul and Mayor Zohran Mamdani say the massive investment package will help stabilize New York City’s finances over the next two years.

It will provide $300 million for youth programming, $150 million for restored sales tax revenue and $60 million for public health.
