3 people injured in Brownsville stabbing

Police say three people were injured during a Sunday afternoon stabbing in Brownsville.

Detectives say it happened at 430 Dumont Ave. just before 1 p.m.

A 25-year-old woman was stabbed in the lower abdomen, a 23-year-old man was also stabbed in the abdomen and a 26-year-old woman suffered a stab wound to her buttocks.

All there were taken to local area hospitals where they are all expected to be OK.

Sources close to this investigation say the victims are being uncooperative and no one is in custody as of Sunday afternoon.
